In the 1930’s the NESCO® Roaster Oven replaced wood stoves in countless kitchens to become "The Original Roaster Oven". Since then NESCO Roasters have been the fixture at family gatherings. Today, to celebrate its 90th Anniversary, The Metal Ware Corporation introduces this Limited Edition NESCO 18qt Anniversary Roaster Oven. It's new Mist color and large metal badge commemorate the 90th Anniversary of The Metal Ware Corporation. This is a super versatile appliance and with the exception of broiling, it can do anything that your regular large oven can to and more. The 4808-90 18qt Roaster Oven has a capacity to hold up to a 22-pound turkey and is also perfect for baking. With squared off corners, it's roomy enough fit a 9 x 13 baking dish, or 9" pie plate, or 2 qt casserole or even 3 loaf pans. The patented and unique "Circle of Heat" heating element wraps around for moist, even cooking and the adjustable full range temperature control (200 degrees to 450 degrees) maintains even cooking temperatures. The 4808-90 is versatile; you can roast, bake, cook, steam, slow-cook and serve. It's like having a second oven in your kitchen. Use it on hot days instead of your regular oven to keep your kitchen cooler and save on electricity. The extra high domed, self-basting cover helps retain moisture. A fully removable Porcelain coated heavy-duty cookwell resist scratches, corrosion, stains, and chips and makes for ease in cleaning. A removable chrome plated cooking/baking rack with lift-out handles is designed for better baking and fat-free roasting. New sure-grip side handles for easy lifting and indicator light.
